Question 1: What are five words that best describe you?
Cheerful. Tenacious. Resilient. Flexible. Responsible.
Question 2: If you still remember, can you share the reason why you chose this company before?
I remember looking for a job and I was particularly looking for steel detailing
jobs. Looking back, it was definitely a good decision. I found many friends
and a satisfying job.
Question 3: What are the things you like about working here?
The people, challenging work, nice working environment, and training in
Japan.
Question 4: What does it mean for you to be a recipient of the Best Engineer award?
I am deeply honored and thankful that my efforts are seen and rewarded.
Question 5: Did you expect to receive this award?
Honestly, I did not. Though I am really honored, I genuinely think that there
are others who are more deserving than me.
Question 6: Looking back at your first day working at YTP, did this award cross your mind?
Definitely, not. I was just looking forward to have fun and enjoy while
working.
Question 7: How do you find your job?
As much as it is challenging, at most times difficult and draining, it is also
fun and gives some sort of satisfaction once you finish a project.
Question 8: What's next for you? What are your plans?
I don’t have any specific plans but just always give my best in what I do.
Question 9: Share some thoughts with aspiring engineers who want to follow in your footsteps.
You will always be the best version of yourself if you are surrounded by the
best people. For that reason, best effort and work will come out of you
naturally. You do not need to be a genius or good in everything you do to
achieve great results.
Question 10: Since you are working in a Japanese company, do you have any favorite Japanese words/phrases?
"よろしくお願いします" is my favorite phrase. It has a lot of meanings and
almost applicable to all situations.
Question 11: If you could travel back in time, specifically on your first day of work here, what would you say to your younger self?
Stay in the company. You get to earn a living and make great friends at the
same time
