Question 2: If you still remember, can you share the reason why you chose this company before?
I was interested in Japanese engineering, and Yokogawa had a compelling job offer at that time.
Question 3: What are the things you like about working here?
I like learning new things about structural engineering and I enjoy the positive work environment.
Question 4: What does it mean for you to be a recipient of the Best Engineer award?
It gives me assurance that my hard work was recognized and it makes me want to do better in my job.
Question 5: Did you expect to receive this award?
I did not expect to receive this award as I felt that I still have a lot to learn about my work.
Question 6: Looking back at your first day working at YTP, did this award cross your mind?
It crossed my mind as a goal that was worth aiming for.
Question 7: How do you find your job?
There are certainly times that are challenging, but I enjoy figuring out solutions, and it gives me a sense of fulfillment when I overcome those challenges.
Question 8: What's next for you? What are your plans?
I plan to continue supporting my group in the best way that I can through the skills and knowledge I have learned over the years working in the company.

Keep on learning and always do your best in your job
Question 10: Since you are working in a Japanese company, do you have any favorite Japanese words/phrases?
一期一会 (ichi-go ichi-e), literally translated as "one time one meeting", which means that every encounter happens only once and can never be repeated so we must make the most of it.
Question 11: If you could travel back in time, specifically on your first day of work here, what would you say to your younger self?
It would be difficult at first due to the language barrier, but eventually I will overcome that and be able to enjoy my work.
