Description

We need qualified professionals to fill-in our manpower. Work involves 2D and 3D structural detailing of bridges, tunnels, and expansion joints, Bridge design verification, drawings and computations.

Bridge Production Engineer
As a crucial part of our team, you’ll be responsible for using your 3D modeling and engineering expertise to automate the creation of detailed shop drawings and data for various steel bridges. Think of yourself as the ✨ bridge ✨ between the initial design and the final product, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Flexing your 3D modeling skills using software like AutoCAD to create precise digital models of bridges.
  • Turning these models into clear and comprehensive 2D shop drawings that guide fabrication.
  • Processing and managing all the data that flows through the bridge manufacturing process.

To be successful, you’ll need:

  • A good knowledge of any CAD software, both in 2D and 3D.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • An understanding of any BIM/CIM software is a big plus!
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to work seamlessly with others.
  • A knack for managing your time and hitting deadlines head-on.
  • A keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of technical drawings and plans.

3D NAVISWORKS

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Creation of precise 3D models of bridges, using the company’s in-house software together with CAD
    software.
  •  Perform clash detection checks between different bridge members, with the aid of Navisworks
  • Do a thorough check of created 3D models, for possible oversights in design and problems that may arise in the erection of the bridge
    Constantly update the model based on changes in the design drawings.
  • Prepare reports of clashes and problems within the project model, for the stakeholders in Japan

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Bridge Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Check the validity of bridge design drawings and calculations
  • Execute modification of design drawings.
  • Prepare material take-off calculations.
  • Perform structural analysis and design investigation of special on-site scenarios like large block erection of girders.
  • Communicate with Japanese bridge design engineers.

 

Skills required:

Civil Infrastructure Engineer

Tunnel Segment Gensun

Tunnel segment manufacturing is the process of producing steel segments that are designed and fabricated with high precision and quality to ensure a perfect fit and stability in the tunnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Create shop and erection drawings using computer-aided software (CAD Software, In-house software, etc.)
  • Prepare and check shop drawings and documents for factory use.

 

SEF Joint 100(expansion joint)

The work involves creation of fabrication drawings for the different parts of the expansion joints, which involves customer consultation pages, factory manufacturing drawings, bills of materials among others.

Responsibilities:

  • Create fabrication drawings using computer aided software
  • Calculate material dimensions using Excel and Y-Mater
  • Competence in CAD and Excel could serve as a great advantage for this kind of project.

Job Purpose

The Structural Design Engineer analyzes and designs steel structures using integrated software specifically developed to perform a comprehensive structural calculation of the  Yokogawa Engineered Structure System.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze the configuration of the basic structural components of a building.
  • Design structures using a computer modelling simulation, Scapy-3D, and analyze how the behavior of the structures under varying conditions, i.e., strong winds, snow, and earthquakes.
  • Produce structural plans composed of Specification Drawings, Plans and Elevation Drawings; Member Lists; and Detailed Drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Compute the steel weight of the pre-and post-design structures.
  • Ensure that the project design meets legal, environmental health, and safety standards.
  • Liaise with other professional staff such as the Exterior Design and Production Group.
Relevant Experience & Requirements
  • Licensed Civil Engineer with proven academic success
  • Proficient in CAD (AutoCAD) softwares
  • Knowledgeable with basic Structural Design, (steel structure is an advantage) 
  • Good critical and analytical thinking and decision-making related to making comprehensive engineering judgements

Responsibilities:

  • drawing and detailing of complete set Steel Frame Erection drawings that will be use in the constructions site.
  • drawing and detailing of shop drawings, assembly drawings and preparation of bill of materials needed in the structural steel fabrication.
  • coordinates with structural designers, and exterior designers to achieve accurate and detailed construction drawings.

  • drawing and detailing of shop drawings, assembly drawings and preparation of bill of materials needed in the exterior fabrication
  • coordinates with structural designers, and steel frame production engineer to achieve accurate and detailed construction drawings.

Description

Required skills:

  • Knowledgeable in computer software (i.e. CAD, MS Office).

Responsibilities:

  • 2D/3D structural modeling using software like FEMAP NASTRAN and other in-house software
  • Analysis of linear and non-linear structures
  • Analysis report (CAD, MS Excel, MS Word)

Requirements:

  • Male/Female not more than 27 years old.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in programming.
  • Ideal candidate must have a background and exposure in network management.
  • Practical analytic skills plus excellent written, oral communication skills in English.
  • Analytical, keen on details, self-motivated, good teamwork and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to set and meet deadlines and an ability to perform under pressure.
  • Willing to learn Nihongo and willing to undergo technical training in Japan (in case needed).

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Civil Engineer with proven academic success.
  • With 1 year working experience in related field /Fresh graduates/Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficient in CAD (AutoCAD, IntelliCad) and MS office applications.
  • Fluent in English – both written and verbal
  • Excellent in Analytical thinking, Pro-active, keen on details, and must have a good strong interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to learn and study Japanese Language (reading, writing and speaking).
  • Willing to work in Pasig City.
